Dear Colleagues and Friends,
It is our pleasure to invite you to participate in the International Conference on Radiation Applications (RAP 2020), to be held in Thessaloniki, Greece, from 1-5 June 2020.
The conference addresses a wide range of topics related to research and applications of ionising and non-ionising radiation and the corresponding areas. It gathers in a professional and friendly forum the specialists from the fields of physics, biology, chemistry, medical sciences, engineering, environmental protection, and other disciplines in which the radiation is used.
After six successful RAD Conferences from 2012-2018, we proceeded with the RAP conference in Belgrade, Serbia, in September 2019. We are proud that the RAP conference succeeded in promoting and further enhancing professionalism, quality, and hospitality. In 2020 we are moving south, for the first time to the cost of the Aegean Sea.
RAP 2020 will feature invited, topical keynote, oral, poster, and virtual presentations. After the most popular and innovative sessions, panel discussions will be organised.
Conference publications include the Book of Abstracts, where all accepted conference abstracts will be published, and Conference Proceedings, containing peer-reviewed full papers of the participants interested in this option.
Deadline for the submission of abstracts is 1 March 2020. The abstracts, no longer than one page (3000 characters), should concisely summarise the work and main results without using figures or tables. Submission is electronic, so please follow the instructions on this web page and submit your abstract(s). Deadline for submission of full papers (maximum 6 pages) is 15 May 2020. Submission of a full paper is not a condition for presenting at the conference.
RAP 2020 will be held in Thessaloniki, the second largest city in Greece. A vibrant coastal city of about 1 million inhabitants, located in the northwest corner of the Aegean sea, Thessaloniki is considered a Greece’s cultural capital. The city offers numerous historical sites and a large choice of cultural and entertainment options.
The conference venue is a modern KEDEA Centre, conveniently located at the Aristotle University campus, within walking distance of Thessaloniki centre. Regarding the accommodation, there are various options in Thessaloniki for all tastes and budgets; more information on this will be provided in due course.
Please have a look at our web page for detailed information about the conference and don’t hesitate to contact us if you have any questions and suggestions.
We look forward to welcoming you in Thessaloniki in June 2020!
