Important Announcement – Beach day cancelled, lunch in Thessaloniki booked instead
Due to bad weather we had to cancel a beach day at Lagomandra beach.
Instead, we will have lunch at 14:30 in Thessaloniki in a traditional taverna, close to Rotunda.

Full papers update
We have extended the deadline for full papers to 30 June.
We are currently in the process of selecting the papers for EPJ-ST. The authors of the papers which are not selected will have an option of submitting them to the Conference Proceedings.

Important announcements
- We have extended the deadline for abstracts (one page, < 3,000 characters, no figures) to 8 May 2022.
- While we encourage onsite participation and live face to face interactions after the two years of pandemic, we will facilitate online participation via online presentations and live internet broadcast of the conference sessions with bi-directional communication. Please see more details under Online participation fee here.
- We remind radon researchers about this year’s radon symposium at RAP 2022. Please see the details here.

RAP 2022 participants interested in publishing full papers based on their abstracts have the following options:
• Special issue of The European Physics Journal Special Topics
• Special issue of Journal of the European Radon Association
• RAP Conference Proceedings
The deadline for full papers for the Proceedings or journals is 1 June 2022.

Symposium on radon research
RAP 2022 conference is organising a symposium dedicated to radon research.
We would like to invite contributions from all across the radon community. Interested authors will have an opportunity to publish full papers in the special issue of Journal of the European Radon Association.

Dear Colleagues and Friends,
International Conference on Radiation Applications RAP 2022 will be held from 6-10 June 2022 in the KEDEA Center in Thessaloniki, Greece.
Covid-19 virus is still with us, but it increasingly looks like there is light at the end of the tunnel. Therefore we are planning to hold RAP 2022 as a live event. However, we will do our best to accommodate the participants who for objective reasons may not be able to attend in person by considering some form of online participation.
What is new this year is that selected papers will have an opportunity to be published in the special issue of The European Physics Journal Special Topics. Also, radon researchers may publish in the special issue of Journal of the European Radon Association. And indeed, as usual, the conference will publish the Book of Abstracts and Conference Proceedings.
The deadline for submission of abstracts via our Abstract Portal is 8 May 2022, and the deadline for full papers for the Proceedings or journals is 1 June 2022. We kindly invite you to submit your contribution and also to forward this information to your colleagues who may be interested.
